EDUCATION FOR CHURCH COMMUNITIES
The ELCTG has established three schools in The Gambia at kindergarten Level. These schools will be developed to Primary ,Junior and senior secondary schools if support is available for “POOR but Brilliant Children in The Gambia.
The Lutheran schools need education and hot food support for children in the schools. The schools need new furnished school buildings , education materials and hot food for children while in school. Many children from polygamous married parents are not in school because of lack of school fees that the parents cannot afford to pay for their children. The children don’t come to school because their parents cannot afford.
WATER FOR LIFE PROJECT
Water is a problem in Gambian communities. More water for life Projects are needed for our Lutheran and Muslim communities.
God is good always! The Evangelical Lutheran development Service of the Evangelical Lutheran church of The Gambia starts its operation Water for Life in the Lutheran communities and schools . The solar pumped borehole project will provide clean drinking water for over 3,000 inhabitants of Sifoe and Kitty Lutheran communities including Lutheran school in those communities.
